Focus on the Cuteness

I was going to do some ranting about the stupidity of the things I’ve seen in the news this week – Republican candidates and pundits and assorted talking-heads in particular – but it just makes me too frustrated and angry. So instead I share with you something funny and interesting that I learned this week……

Those hairs that kittens have in their ears are called “furnishings.” How fancy is that!?!

  1. SO fancy!

Did you know that we have a new golden-eyed tuxedo cat, too?

  2. I am looking at your facebook photos right now! She is very sweet and it’s so great the way the two kitties are getting long. But I am also sad to read about Lola :( .

Does Lucy ever hold a cat toy out for Charlie to swat at and then yank it away at the last minute so he misses it and falls over?

  3. No, she’s not done that yet. But she often needs to put her head EXACTLY WHERE HIS HEAD IS AND RIGHT THIS VERY INSTANT!

(And we are still sad about Lola, too. Thanks.)

  4. I’m also getting tired of all the political crap — which is good, as obsessively refreshing Rachel Maddow’s web page doesn’t do much for my productivity.

What happened to Lola??? I’m your FB friend and I don’t remember seeing anything? Or did I?

  5. Hi Eelaine! No, Lola was Jenni’s cat. Or, maybe you are FB friends with Jenni and you weren’t writing that question for me at all?

  6. Oh. Here’s where I shamefacedly admit I don’t really know your cats’ names. Except Gomez and Weezie. Don’t know Jenni, but always sad to hear about lost pets.

  7. I have a post-it on my monitor so I can remember them all too. (See next other post from today.)
